Small Engine Mechanic repairs fractional-horsepower gasoline engines used to power lawnmowers, garden tractors, and similar machines. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Small Engine Mechanic may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Small Engine Mechanic relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Ability to troubleshoot and repair small gas/diesel engines on a wide variety of small construction equipment i.e., compressors, generators, pumps, chain saws etc.
Receive, store, issue, re-order warehouse materials.
Willing to train the right candidate.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Positive attitude and desire to excel while working with fellow employee-owners.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Clean driving record
• Some fabrication/welding skills a plus
• Must have own basic tools
• Ability to work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Must pass pre-employment and subsequent random drug screenings.
PERSONAL SKILLS:
• Must be able to effectively communicate.
• Will be required to work in a team environment with fellow employee-owners.
• Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lb
Pay range $18.00-$24-00 D.O.E.
