Social Media Analyst collects and analyzes data related to social media marketing campaigns. Analyzes social media data to identify patterns and trends. Being a Social Media Analyst monitors social media platforms to determine how a new update or feature impacts audience behavior or content performance. Identifies opportunities for campaign optimization and provides recommendations to improve targeting and messaging. Additionally, Social Media Analyst creates and maintains comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to monitor marketing performance and communicate insights to stakeholders. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Social Media Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. ABOUT THE POSITION AND OUR TEAM:WORK AND TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS:This is a full-time position and is hybrid in our Independence, Ohio location. Approximately 5-15% of travel will be required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.The Social Media Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies that align with our brand objectives, increase our online presence and drive engagement with our target audience. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns, be highly creative, possess excellent communication skills, and have a deep understanding of the latest social media trends and algorithms.RESPONSIBILITIES:- Analyze user engagement (e.g. click-through and bounce rates).
- Report on KPIs and conversion rates from all social media.
- Build and support SEO strategies, including optimizing keywords in content marketing projects, and lead generation tactics.
- Identify the habits of our online customers and suggest ways to reach a broader audience.
- Maintain a cohesive strategy across all platforms to increase our brand awareness.
- Coordinate with the Marketing team members to design advertising campaigns.
- Research how emerging social networks and features can benefit our company.
- Job Responsibilities and any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and support our organization’s values.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:- BS or BA in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Additional qualifications in digital technologies or social media management is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in social media experience is required.
- Previous work experience as a Social Media Analyst, Social Media Coordinator, Social Media Manager, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
- In-depth understanding of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
- Experience with social media management and CRM tools, like Hubspot, Buffer, and Hootsuite.
- Familiarity with online content (experience with WordPress and content management systems is preferred).
- Ability to identify target audience preferences and trends.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Time management and multitasking skills.
