Social Media Analyst collects and analyzes data related to social media marketing campaigns. Analyzes social media data to identify patterns and trends. Being a Social Media Analyst monitors social media platforms to determine how a new update or feature impacts audience behavior or content performance. Identifies opportunities for campaign optimization and provides recommendations to improve targeting and messaging. Additionally, Social Media Analyst creates and maintains comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to monitor marketing performance and communicate insights to stakeholders. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Social Media Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     JOB SUMMARY
    Portland Adventist Community Services (PACS) is looking for an experienced Social Media Coordinator to create and
    maintain a strong online presence for our faith-based non-profit organization. This role will include developing original
    content for PACS social media platforms and collaboration with our development team for campaign-related efforts. This
    role will be encouraged to pursue creative ways to strengthen our online presence and customer engagement to
    promote awareness of PACS in line with our mission and vision.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Create engaging text, image and video content to post on all PACS social media platforms
    • Monitor all PACS social media platforms and stay up to date with changes to ensure maximum effectiveness
    • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
    • Solicit stories from staff, volunteers and customers for engaging content for social media posts
    • Work in collaboration with PACS leadership and campaign management for cohesive messaging for campaignrelated marketing and advertising
    • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
    • Report to leadership on online reviews and feedback from customers
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
    • Proven professional experience of social media, content creation, influencer marketing and/or online brand
    marketing experience
    • Experience working with non-profit organizations preferred
    • Experience working with faith-based organizations preferred
    • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to successfully interact directly with customers, potential
    donors and members of the community in a public forum
    • Creative thinking with an eye for strong content and vision for storytelling.
    • Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective relationships with internal cross-functional partners.
    HOURLY RATE & STATUS
    • $800/month; minimum 2 posts per social media platform per week. Annual contract with option for renewal.
