Social Media Analyst collects and analyzes data related to social media marketing campaigns. Analyzes social media data to identify patterns and trends. Being a Social Media Analyst monitors social media platforms to determine how a new update or feature impacts audience behavior or content performance. Identifies opportunities for campaign optimization and provides recommendations to improve targeting and messaging. Additionally, Social Media Analyst creates and maintains comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to monitor marketing performance and communicate insights to stakeholders. Social Media Strategy: To implement, manage, and analyze all social media programs. Monitor and engage in the hotel portfolio’s social media accounts, as well as experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media. Dive into web and social analytics of not just our portfolio but also our competition, to see where we can improve and what we should change about our overall social strategy. Strategize with and educate management on incorporating relevant social media techniques. Analyze the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and offer data-driven recommendations that outline necessary changes to the social media and digital marketing plan.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000
Content
Work closely with the team to develop social media campaigns that help to achieve corporate and hotel-specific marketing goals
Look for viral, shareable content online that can increase web traffic and social engagement
Identify and implement a consistent schedule for posts by platform (i.e., LinkedIn, Facebook, etc)
Reputation Management
Acknowledge and respond with urgency to all guest-posted web content (i.e. Trip Advisor, Google etc.)
Partner with operating team to ensure all negative posts/reviews addressed internally and guest follow up has occurred
Demonstrate familiarity with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities in order to respond to guest inquiries accurately
Monitor trends in peer review and social media tools and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increase the success of the social media/reputation management program
Reporting
Create and submit monthly reporting on social media and reputation management trends
When applicable, measure the awareness and financial impact of social media and reputation management on overall marketing efforts
General

Education & Experience Preferred
College degree or 2 years demonstrated experience in social media marketing, preferably in a hospitality or food and beverage environment
High School Diploma or equivalent required
