Overview:

The Social Media Community Manager will be responsible for developing social media strategies focused around building relationships with the SCHEELS customer base. This individual is the caretaker of the SCHEELS online brand presence. The Community Manager should quickly understand and support initiatives that will contribute to positive customer sentiment and strong customer engagement. This role will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be an expert in brand voice.

Responsibilities:

• Provide premiere customer service inclusive of our internal team and our social followers through engagement and response in a timely manner
• Monitor and report on social media response quantities, rates and response times across all channels
• Utilize social listening and reporting tools to gather customer insights and sentiment data, recapping and communicating these findings to adjust current and future marketing campaigns
• Develop and implement social media strategies on behalf of the brand, specifically with Facebook groups and other channels with high customer engagement and interaction
• In partnership with social media specialists, review video performance metrics including watch time and dropoffs to understand what content is resonating best
• Identify unique ways to deliver unexpected, best in class customer service to our customer; finding ways to go above and beyond expectations and work across teams to do this at scale
• Collaborate with the social media team on the execution of engaging social media content and distribution across all social channels
• Work collaboratively with the ecommerce customer experience team to take care of customers
• Interacting across social media channels by commenting on other brands’ and users’ pages on behalf of the SCHEELS brand

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, one to two years of experience in social media marketing with demonstrated successes; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
