JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced social media professional with 3-5 years of agency experience to join our team! This role is responsible for managing the organic paid social presence and overall strategy for designated clients, creating short and long-form content, including social media posts, sales/landing pages, and email campaigns/sequences. Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing projects and being a liaison for larger initiatives.
This position is a hybrid, part-time position with the opportunity for growth. Applicants must supply their own computer and a secure internet connection to perform job responsibilities.
Candidates must be located in Central New York and can work in person with our Utica, NY-based team as needed. Agencies, business owners, virtual assistants, and out-of-state applicants will be automatically rejected. Work samples or a portfolio are strongly preferred when applying to this position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Responsible for organic social media content creation for 3-5 clients on a daily basis
- Create and manage paid Meta/LinkedIn/Google Ads for designated clients
- Create content calendars for managed accounts across multiple social media platforms
- Craft innovative short and long-term digital strategies based on client objectives
- Create social graphics and/or communicate needs to the graphic design team
- Create and manage email marketing efforts and blog posts for clients and/or agency
- Assist with lead nurturing efforts for client campaigns
- Various project duties include project management, research, copywriting (sales/landing pages, email marketing, blogs), platform management, campaign ideation and development, etc.
- Work with clients on a routine basis to understand their needs, coach them through capturing first-party content, and gain approval of their content calendar
- Create and monitor client reports and live dashboards
- Manage and create paid social media campaigns - Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
- Manage and create Google Ad campaigns (Google Ad Grants)
- Assist FMN Creative staff and clients as assigned with various duties
- Flexibility to make your own remote schedule M-F between the hours of 9am-6pm EST
- Role is up to 30 hours weekly
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of demonstrated industry experience that includes copywriting, lead generation and nurturing, social media management, and/or social media advertising
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or related field
- Exceptional working knowledge of social media platforms, including Meta (platform itself, as well as Business Manager, Ads Manager, and Creator Studio), LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok
- Exceptional writer with keen attention to detail and impeccable punctuation
- Knowledgeable and ideally experienced with using Kajabi or a similar e-course platform
- Values the perfect combination of copy, creative, and strategy that can cut through the social noise
- Demonstrated experience and success in social media (organic and paid social)
- Experience in email marketing, including Mailchimp, Active Campaign, Constant Contact, and/or Kajabi
- Experience and demonstrated results in creating social media strategies
- Experience creating content and managing multiple social media channels for clients (minimum of 2 clients at a time)
- Demonstrated writing and communication abilities, with prior experience blogging, writing copy, social media posts, ads, etc.

- Comfortable and confident in front of clients (this position will work directly with clients)
