Position Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Growth Marketing the Marketing Specialist will be a goal-oriented, metrics-driven champion who will help identify, develop, implement, and measure marketing efforts and campaigns that are meaningful, relevant, and compelling to the region’s varied audience segments and community members.

This role will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies and tactical plans for the organization across all current and future markets designed to attract, motivate, and gain new customers across our continually expanding geographic footprint. To be successful in this role, you will need to network with and foster strong relationships with local businesses, charities, associations and organizations, and media outlets/affiliates. With a focus on these relationships, you will help establish strategic partnerships to increase brand awareness, grow market penetration, and strengthen the company’s sales in the area. The Marketing Specialist will work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to drive customer growth, improve conversion performance, and increase sales through innovative tactics, effective channel selection, and significant community engagement events and activities.

Essential Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Seek out and establish strong relationships with local businesses, associations and philanthropic organizations through community outreach
• Attend and assist in staffing events and activities throughout assigned market areas
• Implement, test, and optimize region-specific customer acquisition campaigns to drive traffic to area locations
• Track and report on campaign and market performance metrics on a regular basis
• Work with outside agency partners to optimize campaigns across all channels
• Access and analyze data to monitor revenue performance
• Prepare channel and campaign performance reports and share key findings that will drive results
• Align projects with key marketing strategies and KPI’s
• Develop projects to create social media content
• Montior social media, GMB and Apple Maps
• Develop strategies to grow social media followers and engagement across all social media channels
• Social content copywriting
• Develop visual assets for social media campaigns

Qualifications:

• Be willing to travel to and/or within other assigned areas
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, communications or related field is required or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in marketing
• Experience with community outreach and partner development
• Experience with marketing tools (Google Analytics, Hootsuite, campaign platforms and dashboards)
• Understanding of digital advertising, social media channels
• Strong Excel skills

Requires the ability to interact with others, interpret spoken messages and utilize reason to resolve complex problems. Requires keyboarding, hearing and talking, frequent standing and walking, and frequent bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, kneeling, being mobile on uneven surfaces, squeezing and crouching. Requires frequent lifting and carrying of 1-25 pounds (occasional up to 50bls).
