    Gameday Spirit Fanstore is the official fan store of the Fighting Illini. Locally owned and operated since 1998, Gameday Spirit has kept its roots in the heart of campus on the corner of 6th and Green and has a second location to serve Illini Nation at the corner of Neil and Kirby. Gameday Spirit is quickly expanding and is looking for intern(s) with a background in Digital Marketing and Social media. Intern(s) will work directly with the Marketing Manager and marketing and design team to accomplish weekly and monthly goals. This is a great opportunity to get experience in social media and digital marketing and strengthen your resume.

    Responsibilities and Qualifications


    Responsibilities

    • Taking bullet point instructions, creating accurate eye-catching posts on all Social Media and Email platforms
    • Audience awareness for all platforms
      • Facebook
      • Twitter
      • Instagram
    • Develop and maintain an increase of followers and post interactions
    • Submit rough promotional posts for project approval, sticking to strict deadlines

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1 year in Marketing/Communications experience
    • Hard-working
    • Deadline and detail-oriented
    • Proficient in writing copy/content and creating graphics for web
