Responsibilities - Marketing Manager:
Establishes marketing goals to ensure market share and profitability of products and/or services.-
Plans and oversees the dealership's advertising and promotional activities including print, electronic and direct mail.

Develops and executes monthly and annual marketing budgets with gm.
-
Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long-range, to ensure profit growth and expansion of dealership products and/ or services
-
Communicates within outside advertising agency regarding ongoing campaigns
-
Works with writers and artists, oversees copywriting, design, layout and paste up and production of promotional materials in unison with gm and ad agency
-
Creates and prepares all print advertising, radio and tv commercial, billboards, direct mail pieces, in store point of purchase merchandising aids, interior and exterior signs, off site displays news releases and stories

Acts as liaison with manufacturer regarding merchandising

Attends pertinent marketing/ sales promotion meetings conducted by manufacturer and dealer associations.

Achieves satisfactory profit/ loss ratio and share of market performance.

Researches, analyzes and monitors financial technological and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and to minimize the effects of competitive activity.

Communicates with dealership employees to keep abreast of customer attitudes, demographics and buying patterns.

Communicates with customers to determine their needs and interests

Evaluates market reactions to advertising programs, media placement and merchandising policy.

Develops surveys and other marketing tools

Tracks marketing results to be certain that marketing objectives are achieved within designated budgets, takes corrective action when necessary

Attends weekly manager meetings
Responsibilities - Social Media Manager:
The primary goal of the social media portion is to maintain all dealership websites.-
Ensures relevant content on all social media
-
Monitor customer contents and feedback and ensure reputation management policies are in place
-
Attends all sales and service meetings to gather information on a daily, weekly and monthly goals

Stays informed on all department specials and incentives and ensures expired offers are promptly removed from sites
-
Plans weekly and monthly enthusiasm events and employee team building events and places on proper media platform
-
Works with all departments and outside media to ensure proper placement on sites
-
Being proactive in looking for opportunities to promote dealership awareness and community involvement on social media sites

Participates in community activities with product knowledge and informational sessions.
Qualifications/Requirements - Social Media Manager:
Automotive marketing background a plus-
Retail experience helpful

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing preferred

Two to Four years related experience in marketing, PR, social media production
-
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience dealing with diverse personalities and backgrounds is required

Excellent oral and written communication skills are mandatory

Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Excellent interpersonal skills with good presentation and training skills

Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
