Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social service programs and initiatives to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Manage and supervise a team of social service professionals, providing guidance and support in their daily activities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations, agencies, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and collaboration.
- Oversee the budgeting and financial management of social service programs, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures in the provision of social services.
- Evaluate program outcomes and make recommendations for improvement based on data analysis.
- Provide direct social work services to individuals and families as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program development, management, and supervision in the field of social services.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse populations.
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and provide leadership in a team environment.
- Experience in program management, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices is preferred.
