The Bachelor of Social Work Program at St. Ambrose University invites applications for a 10-month clinical instructor position in Social Work, beginning August 1, 2024. Responsibilities include working collaboratively with university partners, student advising, university and community service, scholarship, serving as a faculty field liaison, and teaching across the Bachelor of Social Work curriculum and throughout the School of Social Work at St. Ambrose University. One of seven health science departments within the College of Health and Human Services, the School is located in a supportive, collaborative environment with a strong focus on teaching as well as support for scholarship. Multiple interprofessional learning events and numerous outreach services enhance the student experience. This BSW Program, accredited in 2021, is a part of the School of Social Work at St. Ambrose, which has offered a well-established MSW program in part-time hybrid, full-time and advanced standing programs since 1997. The position requires an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program. A minimum of two years post-MSW direct practice experience is required as is a professional social work license.
