    Position Summary

    Responsible for the supervision and completion of assigned tasks for Slot, Sports, and Keno operations in a timely and responsible manner. Responsible for providing daily managerial support for all departments on assigned shifts.

    Essential Functions

    • Supervises all aspects of daily operations of the Slot, Sports, and Keno operations.
    • Will supervise Technicians in the absence of the Technician Supervisor.
    • Provides managerial support to all departments on assigned shifts.
    • Ensures that Slot, Sports, and Keno operations comply with Chinook Winds policies and procedures.
    • Resolve customer complaints as needed.
    • Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of goals, objectives, programs, promotions, budgets, policies, and procedures.
    • Provides input or recommendations for improvements and changes in processes or services.
    • Manages employees during the shift and ensures appropriate professional standards of behavior, work standards, productivity, practices, and customer care are enforced.
    • Ensures a complete knowledge by the whole team of Slot, Sports, and Keno operations policies and procedures.
    • Maintains effective communication within the team and attends meetings and training sessions when required.
    • Assigns scheduling, job duties, responsibilities, and work areas to employees in accordance with work requirements.
    • Performs personnel actions such as hiring and firing staff, consulting with department management and Human Resources, as necessary.
    • Develops and maintains a teamwork environment.
    • Trains, monitors, and develops staff through evaluation and development plans.
    • Monitors staff performance to ensure Chinook Winds Casino Resort customer service standards are achieved.
    • Informs Slot Manager of any pertinent information.
    • Maintains general knowledge of Chinook Winds operations, programs, promotions, events, & services and ensures this information is communicated to staff and guests as applicable. Identifies & reports any irregular, unsafe or hazardous conditions.
    • Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with all Chinook Winds Policies and Procedures and customer service standards.
    • Adheres to the confidentiality policy of Chinook Winds.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Education

    High School Diploma or GED

    Experience

    Five years' experience in a position with high volume customer contact

    Two years cash handling experience

    One year Slot Lead experience (or) Two years Slot supervisory experience

    Computer Skills

    Microsoft Office basic level including Word, Excel, and Outlook

    Certificates & Licenses

    Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License
