Software Architect is responsible for the structural design and development of new software systems or extensive software revisions for external customers. Analyzes software requirements and defines system components to ensure efficient and scalable software architecture. Being a Software Architect designs and implements software solutions to consider business and technical needs and ensures compatibility with existing systems. Creates and maintains architecture documentation such as design specifications and diagrams to guide future maintenance and development. Additionally, Software Architect works with non-technical stakeholders to analyze requirements and understand constraints, dependencies, and business needs. Has in-depth knowledge of software development processes and methodologies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Software Architect work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. To be a Software Architect typically requires 7+ years of related experience. Target Analyst Reporter, Level 1-4

  • What you will be doing!

    Independent Software is hiring Target Analyst Reporters.  The candidate will prepare synthesized products for customers by researching, analyzing, and reporting intelligence via appropriate reporting vehicles, in response to Intelligence Community (IC) requirements and in accordance with customer missions of Signals Intelligence, Information Assurance, and Computer Network Operations. 


    Key Requirements:

    • Prioritize, assess, evaluate, and report information obtained from passive and active collection, network evaluation and analysis, and from related collateral sources (for example IMINT, MASINT, HUMINT, open source, and others as needed) for use or decision by Government personnel.
    • Maintain awareness of internal and external customer needs. Collaborate with collectors and analysts to refine collection and reporting requirements.
    • Share target-related information and provide feedback to customers as appropriate. Issue appropriate products, which relay developments, trends, indications, warnings, and/or situational awareness regarding specific targets, as well as countermeasures and courses of action, if applicable.
    • Help develop databases or working aids on target activity to enhance and build target knowledge and improve collection.
    • Perform pre-release quality control functions

    Education and Experience:

    Level 1: 

    A degree in a Liberal Arts field (e.g. English, History, Communications, Languages and Culture, International Relations, and Political Science) is preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable. Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience 

    Level 2: 

    A degree in a Liberal Arts field (e.g. English, History, Communications, Languages and Culture, International Relations, and Political Science) is preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable. Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 9 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, a Master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience, OR a Doctoral Degree and 2 years of relevant experience. 

    Level 3:   

    A degree in a Liberal Arts field (e.g. English, History, Communications, Languages and Culture, International Relations, and Political Science) is preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable. Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 12 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, a Master's degree and 6 years of relevant experience, OR a Doctoral Degree and 4 years of relevant experience.  

    Level 4: 

    A degree in a Liberal Arts field (e.g. English, History, Communications, Languages and Culture, International Relations, and Political Science) is preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable. Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 15 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 11 years of relevant experience, a Master's degree and 9 years of relevant experience, OR a Doctoral Degree and 7 years of relevant experience.

    Clearance Required:   Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance to be considered for this role.
