Cimarron is seeking experienced Technical Designers to support a large aerospace and defense customer in Everett, WA or Renton, WA. This position is supporting a 1-year contract. This opportunity allows for a hybrid schedule (i.e. some days in the office, some days work from home).

This opportunity offers a competitive salary and the opportunity for additional cash-in-lieu of benefits.

Key Duties:

• Lead, develop, maintain, and release electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs, or engineering documentation and data by applying company, industry, and governmental standards for multiple customers.
• Manage, interpret, and develop design requirements.
• Use design tools to document and maintain configuration design control.
• Manage, create, develop, and maintain complex systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs, and integrating systems elements.
• Validate complex engineering system designs and functionality.
• Lead the process for product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to complex.
• Coordinate activities and products with cross-functional groups, internal partners, and external suppliers.
• Review and assign work to others.
• Work under minimal direction.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Engineering knowledge and comprehension
  • Engineering processes
  • Information Technology fluency
• Associate degree and 6 or more years of related experience.
