The Role

In this role, you will play a vital part in developing innovative software solutions that support our clients within the process safety and risk management industry. You will collaborate with a team of experienced developers to design, build, test, and maintain software applications that meet the specific needs of our clients. Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members, process safety engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and determine the best software approach.

Design, develop, and implement intuitive and user-friendly software solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.

Maintain existing software applications, addressing client and company concerns through regular updates and bug fixes.

Conduct thorough testing of software programs and products before launch to ensure optimal performance and functionality.

Troubleshoot and resolve coding problems efficiently, minimizing downtime and maintaining a productive work environment.

Integrate security best practices into software development to safeguard sensitive information.

Continuously seek opportunities to improve existing software processes and interactions within the company.

Participate in knowledge sharing by coaching and training other team members on software applications.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Strong understanding of a programming language's syntax (e.g., C#, Java, Python).

Working knowledge of a database management system (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).

Demonstrated experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Prior experience in a .NET environment (C# or VB.NET) is a strong plus.

Ability to learn new development languages and adapt to evolving software requirements.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
