Requirements
Help design and deploy an IT infrastructure that aligns with the company's corporate and customer needs.
Deploy, onboard, and support Managed Services customers.
Maintenance and Monitoring:
Proactively monitoring the network and infrastructure for any potential issues.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, updates, and patching to ensure the network and infrastructure remains secure and efficient.
Proactively monitor network and infrastructure health, check backups daily, run vulnerability scans at regular intervals and perform remediation.
Help ensure proper role-based access and regularly audit admin access to infrastructure.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Ensure a high level of network/infrastructure uptime and availability.
Act as an escalation point for network or infrastructure related issues.
Develop, implement, and document network/infrastructure troubleshooting procedures.
Participate in on call rotation and provide 24/7 support for GSOC and managed services customers.
Help ensure ticket response/resolution times meet SLAs.
Provide helpdesk support to employees at the Rochester office when needed.
Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain up-to-date documentation of the network and IT service topology, configurations, and procedures.
Provide detailed project plans for high impact changes and follow change management procedures as needed.
Planning and Strategy:
Evaluating emerging technologies and making recommendations for future network/infrastructure upgrades.
Ensuring that network and server infrastructure aligns with the overall IT and business strategy.
Participate in disaster recovery exercises and business continuity planning.
Other duties as assigned.
