Summary of Description:
The Technician will work under the supervision of an assigned specific discipline and based on experience the individual evaluates, selects, and applies standard applicable techniques. Could include discipline work of purchasing, expediting, NDT Inspection, project controls, surveying, laser scanning, schedulers, planner, construction inspectors, project coordinators, automation, controls, etc.

High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) with additional specialized training, or college course work, and at least six (6) years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

Duties:
• Update, verify, and install software and software patches to client workstations, servers and/or laptops per request.
• Document and update procedural processes for performing client installs.
• Provide technical support for web, desktop, and mobile applications.
• Effectively provide support and maintenance of vendor software applications and actively contacted vendors for troubleshooting and/or parts, as necessary.
• Perform monthly verifications, downloads, and installations of Microsoft patches.
• Carry out daily system checks, system backups and monitoring of backup systems.
• Contact various departments as needed to validate system operational performance and ensure programs are working as expected.
• Document and report anomalies discoveries while performing system checks and/or troubleshooting.
• Utilize Quantum and Acronis backup systems. Troubleshooting issues with hardware, software, or removable storage (i.e. Tapes).
• Develop and execute SQL scripts to generate weekly and monthly reports from databases to be analyzed by various requesting departments.
