Description:The Software Engineer will design and develop embedded software for vehicle access products. Actalent is looking for support wherein
the team interfaces with the customer and understands the customer's requirements. The system engineering team develops and translates the customer requirements to the clients' requirements. The clients requirements are further classified, and additional attributes are filled in the requirements database. An example of an attribute is "Verification Criteria". The requirements are reviewed and verified by the corresponding team per their internal process. The requirements are stored in PTC Integrity. The system engineering team also creates the system architecture using Sysml models.
The responsibilities for the system engineering team are
listed below:
Create and maintain system processes
Mentor Junior systems engineers
Develop vehicle topology for production and advanced projects
Compose system and subsystem requirements
Develop system architectures using SysML modeling.
Ensure all traceability between all system requirements, architectures, test procedures.
Drive system level issues to closure
Support hardware, software, mechanical teams to sure a cohesive and robust system design.
Capture issues into customer issue management system
Lead / participate in issue resolution activities during advance project, product development, vehicle launch, and/or warranty periods
Support incorporating module(s) into vehicle electrical systems
Collaborate with project managers, development team, suppliers and customers to ensure that requirements and expectation are addressed in all phases of the project

Additional Skills & Qualifications:Actalent will also provide software engineering support in the execution of the project. The ECU will be based on AUTOSAR. Microsar from vector will be purchased and integrated to meet the AUTOSAR guidelines. ADAC is looking to Actalent to help with the integration of the Vector Microsar package. Actalent will perform the activities as outlined in the software process documentation.
In addition, Actalent will also perform software project management for other projects that are internally executed. This involves planning of software activities per the internal process documentation and ASPICE guidelines. In addition to planning, the Software Project Manager is instrumental in release of software, running the scrum, managing the project risks, interfacing with the internal and external stakeholders, etc.
