Software Quality Assurance Analyst executes testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards. Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows. Being a Software Quality Assurance Analyst isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects. Verifies fixes. Additionally, Software Quality Assurance Analyst documents testing according to required procedures. Familiar with software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. May assist with the creation of new testing scripts and plans. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to Quality Assurance Manager. The Software Quality Assurance Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Responsibilities:

    • Act as the primary technical resource to design, implement, execute, and maintain technical systems and infrastructure test cases based on design specifications within preproduction environments.
    • Perform end-to-end QA processes for the technical and infrastructure systems that host HST applications, detailing interactions between the technical and infrastructure systems and HST applications.
    • Identify and report bugs and deficiencies found through testing and document them with the appropriate product team.
    • Create and maintain processes and procedures documentation for the technical and infrastructure systems QA process.
    • Be a champion at HST in maintaining quality in every development lifecycle phase.


    Qualifications:

    • 2 years of experience in a software development testing environment. Experience as a QA analyst or relevant work experience in a software testing role.
    • 2 years of relevant work experience in EHR: use, QA, implementation, or training (Required). Expertise in healthcare or Electronic Health Record use and/or testing is critical to this role.
    • Experience working with automated testing tools (ie. Leapwork)
    • Skillset to trace and identify bugs and test gaps and affected systems.
    • Excellent analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
    • Excellent people skills.  You will be working with software development teams to ensure a quick resolution of bug fixes.
    • Basic understanding of SQL.
    • You must have a sense of humor and speak geek.
    • Detail-oriented, punctual, and inquisitive. 
    • Passion and a deep understanding of best practices for Quality Engineering.
