Job Summary:
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the QA associate will be required to work to uphold the highest standards of quality of all analytical testing for our clients. Day-to-day tasks will include items such as sample intake, data and final report review. The QA associate will also be required to assist with client- complaint investigations and CAPAs, as well as other duties as needed. The QA associate will be required to maintain adequate QA/QC standards and ensure non-bias in assisting all laboratory staff and leadership with maintaining ISO 17025 quality standards.
Requirements:
· Ensure compliance with all company policies, local, state, and federal regulations.
· Ensure all customer specific policies, procedures, and specifications are followed.
· Review documentation for completeness and accuracy.
· Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and quality records.
· Ensure proper calibration and maintenance is performed on a regular schedule for all lab equipment, machinery, and instrumentation.
· Keep the Quality Assurance Manager informed of all quality results and issues.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
· Performing all other duties deemed appropriate, necessary, required, or directed by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Qualifications:
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Ability to thrive in individual and team environments.
· Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
· Experience with GMPs and writing SOPs is a plus.
· Knowledge of FDA and ISO 17025 standards a plus.
Education and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum A 4-year degree in either quality assurance/chemistry, microbiology, chemistry, food quality or other related field. Experience in a QA/QC environment is preferred but not required. This is an entry level position, and we are willing to train the right candidate. Job Type: Full-Time
