Software Quality Assurance Analyst executes testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards. Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows. Being a Software Quality Assurance Analyst isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects. Verifies fixes. Additionally, Software Quality Assurance Analyst documents testing according to required procedures. Familiar with software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. May assist with the creation of new testing scripts and plans. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to Quality Assurance Manager. The Software Quality Assurance Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for a contract position.
The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can remove roadblocks, is detail-oriented, and has a knack for breaking websites.
QAEs regularly work with Developers, Product Managers, and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment.
During the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.
QUALIFICATIONS
# BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 0-2 years of industry experience testing software, including website applications.
# Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
# Experience in running the manual regression test pass and able to update the tests for minor changes.
#Experience in bug filing and bug resolution. Running any existing automation tests is a plus.
# Experience with QA process and Software Development Life Cycle.
