Job Description: Reverse Logistics Data Analyst

Pay rate range: $53/hr. to $55/hr. on w2.

The main function of the Logistics Analyst, Reverse Logistics is to provide business intelligence support and supporting areas by means of both repeatable and ad hoc reporting to deliver reports (charts, graphs, tables, etc.) that enable informed business decisions.
The data & reporting analyst is responsible for all points of data extraction, manipulation, reporting and analysis for the life cycle of Return Authorizations (RA), from generation through execution of product disposition. Position requires an extremely detailed, timely, consistent and accurate approach to reporting. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must in this position to produce KPI’s to be shared with Sr. level management within client. Play a pivotal role in reporting to be used to set the priorities throughout the reverse operations, ensuring that key issues are addressed and supporting internal and external stakeholders.
Daily/weekly briefings and communications are needed to ensure consistent information is shared throughout the operations. This position is a task-oriented role, requiring very good organizational skills and follow through. The position requires interaction with a broad number of employees to validate data and collaborate on discrepancies found. This position is a key role in the critical analysis associated with reverse logistics and warehouse operations. This position is also responsible for supporting improvement opportunities throughout the organization, for monitoring discrepancies and escalating to appropriate parties.
In order to meet daily responsibilities, the candidate must be proficient with MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint; must have experience developing dashboards using BI Tools (Qlik Sense, Qlik View, Tableau, etc.), and writing reports using SQL
Must be able to work in the United States without restrictions.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Accounting, or related field
- 6-8 years of data analytical experience required: to include - report writing, cost analysis, accounts payable, and reporting of key performance indicators.
- Process certification, such as, Six Sigma, CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, CMMI.
- Results driven and ability to handle multiple projects
- High proficiency and advanced skills in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SQL, and dashboard creation
- Experience in a logistics supply chain (operations) environment preferred
- Apply problem-solving skills to address issues and work through others for sustainable resolution
- Experience with e-commerce helpful.
- Familiar with transactional processes to facilitate customer product returns to the warehouse, under managerial supervision, making routine decisions.
NECESSARY SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES:
- Experience with SAP, Tableau, QilkView, QlikSense, SQL, Power BI, etc.
- Excellent communications skills (written, verbal)
- Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural business environment
