Position: SharePoint Online /Power Platform Support Engineer

Duration: 6 months (Potential for extension - subject to project requirements)

Location: Remote (Candidates based in Plano, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Pleasanton, CA preferred)

Work Authorization: US Citizen

Rate: Competitive, based on market standards

Interview Process: Single round - 30 minutes with EM & Lead Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical support for SharePoint Online and associated Office 365 services.
• Resolve user queries and issues related to SharePoint functionality, permissions, and access.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address intricate SharePoint challenges.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize SharePoint configurations.
• Assist in seamless migration of content from on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SharePoint processes and best practices.
• Offer technical support for the Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint.
• Develop solutions, uphold standards, and advocate for the adoption of the Power Platform across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in SharePoint administration and support.
• Proficient in SharePoint Online, encompassing site collection management, permissions, and workflows.
• Strong grasp of Office 365 services and their integration with SharePoint.
• Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude and ability to work autonomously.
• Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• SharePoint certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration.
• Familiarity with SharePoint migration tools and methodologies.
• In-depth understanding of the Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint.
• Proven track record in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, coupled with the capacity to thrive both independently and within a team environment.
