    As the Project Manager, you will be ensuring the successful completion and certification of large-scale construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

    Collaborating closely with a team of Project Coordinators to plan, direct, and oversee the entire project closeout process, ensuring that goals are achieved within the specified schedule, scope, and budget.

    Facilitating internal and external coordination and collaboration with various stakeholders, including Project Coordinators, Assistant Project Managers, Architects of Record (AORs), Inspectors of Record (IORs), and representatives from the Division of the State Architect (DSA), to verify that projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

    Developing a comprehensive view of the project closeout process and deliverables, identifying cross-project dependencies and conducting risk analysis to mitigate potential issues.

    Collecting, coordinating, processing, and expediting project certification, adhering to DSA regulations and other relevant building codes.

    Undertaking special or complex certification projects, conducting research, and applying current DSA regulations and processes to ensure compliance.

    Directly participating in the project closeout process, resolving any issues that may impede project progress and ensuring timely completion.

    Conducting field surveys to verify construction plans, Construction Change Directives (CCDs), and Addendum, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.

    Ultimately, you will be responsible for producing complete and certifiable closeout packages for our clients, demonstrating our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.

    Requirements

    Education: Possess an architectural degree from an accredited university OR career experience that demonstrates equivalent proficiency.

    Experience: Demonstrated experience in producing and coordinating documents across all phases of architectural practice, with a strong focus on proficiency in DSA school projects.

    Proficiency: Skilled in using Bluebeam and DSA Box for document management and collaboration.

    Software Skills: Solid working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, cloud-based systems, Gmail, and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn new software applications. Knowledge of Smartsheet a plus.

    Minimal Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally as required for the role.

    Problem-Solving: Highly detailed and efficient at problem-solving, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

    Attributes: Positive, enthusiastic, fast learner, and self-driven individual with a passion for excellence.

    Construction Knowledge: Understanding of building construction, codes and regulations.

    Background: Background in business, construction, or project management preferred, with PMP certification considered a plus.

    Project Schedules: Basic knowledge of project schedules. PLUS if you are intermediate or above at project scheduling.
