Software Support Manager oversees software support staff. Manages department budget to ensure goals are met. To be a successful Case Manager you must become able to do the following always:
1. Follow agency policy and procedures.
2. Conduct health and safety visits with assigned foster children.
3. Manage assigned cases and coordinate services with the wraparound team.
4. Provide guidance and education to caregivers on trauma informed parenting techniques.
5. Respond to client needs in a timely manner and assist with problem solving.
6. Participate in the on-call rotation, assist caregivers via phone, and respond to urgent requests for support.
7. Participate in foster parent recruitment activities and special events.
8. Participate in the weekly case review meetings and monthly staff meetings.
9. Complete all tasks and additional duties that are assigned by the supervisor or executive director
10. Maintains commitment to culturally competent, trauma-informed, family-focused, child-centered, evidence-based, data-driven services.

To qualify for this job you need to have:
1. Case management staff must have a master's or bachelor's degree in social services or a closely related field from an accredited school.
2. Case managers must maintain:
(a) Training, experience, knowledge, and demonstrated skills in each area he or she will be supervising;
(b) Skills and understanding needed to effectively manage cases; and
(c) The ability to monitor staff development and training.
4. Must be at least 21 years old; possess a valid Washington State driver’s license and have proof of automobile insurance that meets the statutorily required minimum amounts of coverage.
5. Physical working requirements - Ability to travel, driving agency or personal vehicle including at night. Ability to do occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Able to walk up stairs. Ability to work flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. Employee is subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally; inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.
