Summary

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, update, and secure windows servers and related services
• Monitor and optimize server performance, availability, and security
• Manage active directory, group policy, DNS, DHCP, and other network services
• Administer exchange, outlook, and other email and collaboration tools
• Administer SQL databases
• Perform backup and restore operations and ensure data integrity and availability
• Document and maintain server configuration, policies, and procedures
• Diagnose and resolve complex server and network issues across multiple sites and devices
• Network design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Research and evaluate new technologies and best practices
• Provide technical support and training to other IT staff and end users

Requirements

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects and deadlines
• At least 5 years of experience as a windows server administrator, network administrator, or similar role
• Advanced knowledge of windows server operating systems and related technologies
• Proficient in active directory, exchange, and other network services
• Experience with virtualization, cloud, and backup technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification in windows server administration or related fields is a plus
• Knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, and containerization technologies, such as AWS, Azure, VMware, or Docker
• Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Experience with Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, and other automation tools
• Experience with Silverpeak and Aruba networking is a plus
• Certification in networking, such as CCNP, CWNP, or Aruba Certified Expert is a plus
• Experience with network design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Experience with WAN optimization, SD-WAN, wireless LAN, and network security technologies and protocols
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Aruba Central
