Software Systems Engineer develops, modifies and codes software systems programming applications. Responsible for resolving less complicated problems relying on the established software systems. Being a Software Systems Engineer has basic knowledge of the principles of existing software systems development. Troubleshoots and fixes minor problems regarding current procedures or systems. Additionally, Software Systems Engineer requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Software Systems Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. The Huron County Engineer’s Office is now accepting applications for Seasonal Employment (May through September).
Under the direction of a supervisor, performs varied types of manual and unskilled laboring work.
Duties include but not limited to:
- General maintenance of buildings and roads.
- Pot hole patching
- Mowing / trimming / brush removal
- Flagging
- Litter pick-up
Position requires employee to work in outdoor weather conditions such as sun, heat, wind, and rain. The work physical demands and work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be high school graduate. Possess a valid State of Ohio Driver’s License.
