Soil Conservationist develops and implements policies and procedures for soil erosion control, moisture conservation, and sound land use. Conducts and participates in environmental studies. Being a Soil Conservationist applies a wide range concepts, practices, and procedures from two or more specialized fields of science, such as agronomy, soil science, forestry, or agriculture. May require a bachelor's degree in agricultural sciences or a related field with at least 5 years of work experience. Additionally, Soil Conservationist may direct the work of a small group of employees. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. JOB SUMMARY: Maintains the cleanliness of the plant, outside parking lot and grounds around the building. Keeps the entire facility as lint free and clean as possible. Empties waste receptacles and recycles plastic bags in soil sort. Follows standard operating procedures. Must meet quality standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- Be on time
- Have excellent attendance
- Meet established cleaning procedures
- Follow all company safety rules
- Be able to work well with a diverse workforce
- Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Possess and maintain a positive attitude
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies
- Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise
- Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cross-train in other positions per production needs
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:- Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day
