Soil Scientist studies, investigates, and conducts experiments on different soil/plant types to determine use capabilities of soils, and effects of alternative practices on soil productivity. Applies a wide range concepts, practices, and procedures from two or more specialized fields of science, such as agronomy, soil science, forestry, or agriculture. Being a Soil Scientist may require a bachelor's degree in agricultural sciences or a related field with at least 5 years of work experience. May direct the work of a small group of employees. Additionally, Soil Scientist relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a senior manager and may be considered the lead for a specific area or unit. The QC Scientist role will support Cytiva’s new plant for manufacturing of chromatographic resins located in Muskegon, Michigan. This exciting role will be part of the start-up of Laboratory Operations on the site to support all parts of manufacturing with product release testing and troubleshooting related to Laboratory and Manufacturing in the field of Life Science.
You will be required to travel outside of US since our Muskegon site cooperates with our Uppsala site in Sweden. Your duties vary from routine analyses to instrument maintenance, method and instruction updates, and cross-functional meetings and collaborations.
