Soil Scientist studies, investigates, and conducts experiments on different soil/plant types to determine use capabilities of soils, and effects of alternative practices on soil productivity. Applies a wide range concepts, practices, and procedures from two or more specialized fields of science, such as agronomy, soil science, forestry, or agriculture. Being a Soil Scientist may require a bachelor's degree in agricultural sciences or a related field with at least 5 years of work experience. May direct the work of a small group of employees. Additionally, Soil Scientist relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a senior manager and may be considered the lead for a specific area or unit. Job Summary
This position will be responsible for sorting incoming soiled healthcare laundry to prepare for hygienically clean processing; positions in must be comfortable handling soiled linen with bodily fluids and be comfortable meeting all physical aspects of the position. This area includes; moving/weighing linen carts, loading the conveyor belt with soiled linen, sorting soiled linen off of the conveyor linen and washing linen carts. This position requires strong teamwork orientation, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.

Schedule: 6 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with 1 – 2 hours overtime required. Four tens, rotating schedule
Pay: $17.50 per hour plus additional $0.50 increase after 90 days of employment; benefits eligible
