Good pizza chefs must display the following characteristics;
- Ability to work as a team in a high production environment. This includes the ability to manage all the prep of ingredients and dough, while simultaneously motivating and directing the kitchen team.
- Knowing what goes into and makes a good New York style pizza. All dough will be made fresh in-house with an established family recipe that has been handed down through four generations so far.
- Commitment to excellent customer service. Ability to represent The Corner's pizza operations. Strong ability to communicate with customers as well as vendors.
- Basic wage will be increased once training is completed, also receive share of tip pool.
