Spa Manager Assistant - Casino assists the manager with spa and recreation activities. Manages the spa and recreation staff and support personnel. Being a Spa Manager Assistant - Casino coordinates classes, programs, and day-to-day operations of a spa and recreational facility. Creates and implements general and therapeutic spa and recreational activities for all age groups. Additionally, Spa Manager Assistant - Casino develops and maintains relationships with members and guests. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Spa Manager Assistant - Casino supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.     Spa Manager

    JOB DESCRIPTION:



    Pay Range: $64,016 - $80,020 DOE Benefits

    The Spa Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Spa, including operations, staffing, guest service and finance. Monitors all operating costs, budgets and forecasts for the Spa, ensuring adherence to established department guidelines. Under the direction of the Director of Hotel Operations, plans, develops and executes revenue generating services, including but not limited to, new services, promotions, and marketing efforts.


    JOB REQUIREMENTS:



    Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
    • Associates Degree preferred.

    Experience:

    • Two years supervisory/management experience.
    • Experience in the procurement of retail merchandise.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Strong and effective leadership and management skills.
    • Knowledge of general business practices, including budgeting, accounting and forecasting.
    • General knowledge of applicable law, regulations, rules, and procedures.
    • Proficient in computers, including POS systems, Microsoft Office applications, e-mail and Internet.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.
    • Excellent detail and follow-up skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments, and to delegate responsibilities.
    • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a gaming license from the Gaming Commission.
