The Spa Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for the reception area at the spa. Includes greeting all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products, booking all appointments, checking the guest into the computer system, and charging for services performed. Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality, including excellent communication, listening, customer service, and computer skills. They must understand how to recommend products to meet our guests' needs effectively. They must be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment, be willing to work with others as an effective TEAM, be detail and multi-task oriented. Excellent customer service skills and ongoing enthusiasm is required.
Responsibilities
Properly open and close spa each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.
Be flexible with your schedule; working weekends, holidays, and opening/closing shifts as needed
Utilize spa computers with skill and proficiency.
Must possess excellent basic math & money handling skills and maintain spa desk bank balance at all times. All cash handling procedures must be followed without fail.
Accurately book, change and cancel spa appointments.
Answer the phone promptly before the third ring and use the guest’s last name throughout the phone conversation.
Properly acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves spa facilities.
Provide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, facility features, and hours of operation.
Actively promote and sell home care programs, meeting or exceeding the $2,000.00 monthly goal.
Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, programs, promotions, and discounts.
Meet or exceed sales and service goals.
Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked, and well-organized work area.
Develop the ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain standing at assigned post for extended periods.
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
Regularly attend and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
Communicate to management any occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
Complete all tasks as deemed necessary by management and meet all assigned goals
