Ocean Place Resort & Spa is seeking a skilled and experienced Engineering Supervisor to join our team in Long Branch, New Jersey. As an Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the engineering department and managing a team of engineers and technicians. This is a full-time, salaried role within our IT & Engineering department and will report directly to the Director of Engineering.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the engineering department, ensuring all maintenance and repair work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Schedule and assign work orders and projects to engineering staff.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to guests during maintenance and repair work.
• Maintain inventory levels of equipment and supplies and place orders as needed.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes and regulations.
• Assist in the hiring and onboarding of new engineering team members.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance or repair issues.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints related to engineering issues.
• Collaborate with the Director of Engineering on budget planning and cost control measures.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering or facility management.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety protocols, and OSHA regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
