Spares Coordination Manager manages the delivery of spare parts and equipment, and scheduling of customer repairs. Negotiates delivery cost for the organization and the end cost to customer. Being a Spares Coordination Manager verifies terms and conditions of contracts are satisfactorily met. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, Spares Coordination Manager acts as advisor to spares coordination team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. The Spares Coordination Manager manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Spares Coordination Manager typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Mobile Tech Admin & Tech Bar Coordination

  • RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintain active knowledge of all services and pricing plans offered by service providers.
    • Make modifications to the service plans as required.
    • Monitor costs and work with vendors to identify and realize cost savings.
    • Ensure incidents/problems are resolved in a timely manner by vendor.
    • Conduct periodic operational oversight meetings with the vendor(s).
    • Ensure no overrun of the annual budget without management approval.
    • Asset and Lifecycle Management
    • Maintain active knowledge of OEM standard devices and services, and act as a liaison to other OEM sites to inquire about new service.
    • Monitor and facilitate the fulfillment of standard service requests. Facilitate weekly management review of all open requests.
    • Ensure mobile device inventory is documented in OEM inventory system & coordinate replacement of devices as they approach end of life or technology evolves considering cost & time to ensure continuous operation and cost efficiency.
    • TechBar Service Operation Support: Provide direction to TechBar (Service Desk onsite) to fulfill all functions defined in the Service Level Agreement.
    • Monitor and facilitate the fulfillment of standard service requests.
    • Analyze demand and utilization for improved availability and customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor incident management process and ensure timely solution by service providers

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience working in an Automotive Environment in an administrative function.
    • Under general supervision this position is responsible for tracking, governance and agreement of services provided by the IT service providers with respect to but not limited to mobile service provider management, procurement and budgeting, asset and lifecycle management, as well as project management activities.
    • IT manages Mobile Service providers to provide high quality service for lowest cost possible and best coverage across OEM facilities. IT maintains the IT hardware inventory through the use of OEM standard software and coordinates the IT asset evaluation and adoption process for mobile
      devices.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Experience in project management.
    • Experience with procurement and budgeting 
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills, communicate technical information on a regular basis.
    • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).

    PREFERRED SKILLS:

    • German language skill

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

      • Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
      • Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.

    FLSA STATUS/WORKING SCHEDULE:

      • Location: Vance, AL
      • Core Hours: Monday – Friday / 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
      • Assignment Start: ASAP
      • Assignment End: 1 Year
