Spares Coordination Supervisor jobs in Mobile, AL

Spares Coordination Supervisor manages the delivery of spare parts and equipment, and scheduling of customer repairs. Negotiates delivery cost for the organization and the end cost to the customer. Being a Spares Coordination Supervisor verifies terms and conditions of contracts are satisfactorily met. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, Spares Coordination Supervisor acts as advisor to spares coordination team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Spares Coordination Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Spares Coordination Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Crisis and Hospital Coordination Specialist

    Access to Care is AltaPointe's access-to-care department and the single point of entry into the majority of AltaPointe's programs and services. Access to Care is responsible for coordinating consumer care throughout our continuum, which may include facilitating hospital admissions and outpatient appointments, verifying insurance coverage, making discharge arrangements following hospitalization and providing referrals and linkage to other community resources. Through a brief telephone screening, trained staff members assess an individual’s needs for care, triage any crisis that the caller may be going through, and determine the most appropriate level of care and service. The team members' have behavioral healthcare experience and training. Their educational credentials include bachelor and graduate degrees in mental health disciplines or related fields.  

    Responsibilities

    Primary Job Functions:

     

    Facilitates appropriate hospital screenings and referrals:

    • Provides referral information and appropriate linkage to community resources, as needed.
    • Reviews screening and criteria to assess referral appropriateness regarding hospital admission and or alternative levels of care.
    • Facilitates, coordinates, and screens potential crisis center and or hospital referrals according to risk factors/priority and works with program and hospital staff and admitting physician for appropriateness in a timely manner.
    • Communicates and follows up with AltaPointe physicians and staff, court system personnel, hospitals, consumers/families and community providers as needed regarding crisis and hospital referrals to ensure consumer continuity of care.
    • Reviews screening and referral information and paperwork as well as EMR/Avatar data to ensure accuracy, completion and communication/dissemination of all information and documents.
    • Demonstrates the ability to recognize the elements of a crisis state and knows how to deescalate or resolve the situation.
    • Enters applicable payor information into EMR as needed.Monitors after hour crisis services and operations:

    Monitors daily answering service reports and crisis logs.

    • Provides follow up as needed, next business day, on new or closed consumers that called crisis line.
    • Follows up on crisis calls and after hour crisis reports that were communicated to attending practitioner on open consumers.
    • Works with staff to review and coordinate potential after hour crisis calls from consumers that, upon follow up, may need services, including hospitalization.
    • Monitors after hour crisis reports regarding additional staff training needs regarding crisis intervention skills, documentation, screening and referral information, etc and communicates these to Hospital Admission and Referral Coordinator and/or Assistant Director.
    • Collects, organizes, and reports monthly after hour crisis service data.
    • Identifies problems, evaluates alternatives, and implements effective solutions for program operations.

    Supervision and Consultation

    • Seeks supervision and consultation as needed to actively enhance skills.
    • Accepts and employs suggestions for improvement.

    Record Keeping

    • Documents appropriate, complete, and comprehensive AltaPointe Access to Care assessments.
    • Documents in a timely, clear, legible, and concise manner.

    Courteous and respectful attitudes towards consumers, community, and co-workers

    • Treats and attends to consumers with care, dignity, and compassion, including their privacy and confidentiality.
    • Delivers five-star customer service to both consumers, community, and AltaPointe staff.

    Administrative and Other Related Duties as Assigned

    • Provides coverage as needed in department and completes other duties as assigned in a timely manner.
    • Actively participates in Performance Improvement activities as needed.
    • Works closely with department and hospital staff as needed.
    • Actively participates in AltaPointe committees and regular workshops and in-services as appropriate.
    • Follows AltaPointe policies, procedures, and professional code of ethics.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications: 

    • Master’s degree or equivalent in a behavioral health or healthcare related field OR
    • Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health or healthcare related field with AT LEAST five years of direct care field experience.
