The Coordinator for Community Mental Health Awareness and Education supports Cooperman s Community Health & Outreach commitment to community wellness through education programs in the community. The Coordinator for Community Mental Health Awareness and Education reports directly to the Medical Director of Community Health & Outreach in collaboration with the Institute for Prevention and Recovery (IFPR). The Coordinator will increase the capacity of community leaders, school personnel, and clinical staff to reduce the prevalence of mental health crises through Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) training; provide ongoing technical assistance for YMHFA trainers; and collaborate with county community partners to create a sustainable MHFA infrastructure.
