Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Manager/ Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing various events, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests. From booking to execution. As an assistant general manager you will be responsible in assisting the GM in food cost, labor cost, ordering, scheduling, and overall restaurant quality. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, decor, audiovisual equipment, and entertainment
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and provide recommendations based on their needs
- Develop event timelines and manage all logistical details to ensure smooth execution
- Communicate with vendors to negotiate contracts and secure necessary services
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements are in place and meet quality standards
- Manage guest registration and provide exceptional customer service throughout the event
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events and restaurant service
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:
- Previous experience in event planning or hospitality is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, vendors, and team members
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality events
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and event management software
- Knowledge of catering and banquet operations is a plus
