Animal Care of Davis County is currently hiring for a full-time Volunteer & Events Coordinator in Fruit Heights, Utah. This position oversees the volunteer program with a focus on recruiting, training, and the daily management of all volunteers. This position is charged to drive positive change by leading volunteers, removing barriers, and ensuring best practices are in place. Excellent skills in communication and collaboration with a variety of teams is required to ensure consistency and to achieve the most optimal outcome for each animal with available resources. Requirements
Graduation from high school (or equivalent), plus two (2) years of related full-time advanced clerical or administrative support experience; an acceptable combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preference for experience managing volunteers in a non-profit or public entity.
This position requires working shifts, including weekends.
