    The Events Logistics Coordinator is responsible for booking vendors and executing set up of events, all day of coordination, and breakdown after events. This position will assist with delivering extraordinary experiences and create raving fans for life through the execution of on- and off-site events for Deschutes Brewery and Boneyard Beer. This position is part-time as schedule varies through the events season.

    What You'll be Doing:

    • Serve as day-of coordinator and main contact for Deschutes Brewery and Boneyard Beer events, identifying an appropriate alternative contact when necessary.
    • Responsible for event set-up and tear down; accountable for ensuring event spaces and equipment are well maintained, clean, and stay current with preventative maintenance needs.
    • Work in close partnership with site leadership teams to coordinate event resources, such as equipment, menus, and vendor management.
    • Obtain and maintain necessary permits for all events, which may include permits issued by the City, OLCC, and DOT.
    • Orders beer and beverage for all events within established timeframes to ensure availability; coordinate delivery of beer/beverage orders to event locations.
    • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on a regular cadence regarding upcoming events and what support is needed to execute.
    • Create and maintain a preferred vendor list for each location; coordinate orders with preferred vendors for events as needed.
    • Build and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other necessary documentation for executing event logistics at each location (and offsite).
    • Maintain working knowledge of Deschutes Brewery brand, menu, and core values
    • Complies with Deschutes Brewery safety practices, policies and procedures and actively promotes safe work practices.
    • Must follow and adhere to all Deschutes Brewery company policies and procedures.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.

    What You'll need for this Position:

    • Experience executing large consumer-facing events at a high level.
    • Self-starter with a demonstrated proficiency in project management and a proven ability to deliver results on deadline.
    • Excellent vendor management skills, highly organized and with strong communication and delegation skills.
    • Highly collaborative, works in tandem with other departments in order to execute exceptional events across the company and community.
    • Flexibility to work nights and weekends, as needed.

    Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

    • Ability to perform physical activities required by the job duties including occasionally lifting and moving up to 55 pounds individually and greater weights with assistance; ability to bend, stretch, stoop, climb, and perform other physical acts associated with selling, demonstrating, and marketing product in an assigned territory.
