Position: Events Coordinator

Classification: Full-Time, Salaried (40hrs/wk) 

Primary Reporting Relationship: Associate Pastor

Secondary Reporting Relationships: Office Director 

Location: New Life Covenant Church

Our Events and Communication team drives the excellence of the atmosphere of our campus and helps steward the regular content that will inspire and encourage the community and beyond.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of event management and planning (communication, details, team building, and execution)
• Develop and execute processes for all events at New Life
• Project management alongside ministry directors and staff New Life Events and outside events
• Write and develop copy that communicates events, ministries, and all things happening at New Life
• Attend and steward all events
• Support delivery of end products for review on time and with excellence.
• Ensure that all on-campus events are documented and recorded
• Stay current on industry trends and tools
• Any other responsibilities as needed to support ministry staff & events

Skills Needed:

• Experience in project management and event planning
• Background in journalism and copywriting 
• High attention to detail
• Works well under pressure
• Can work alone or on a team to successfully meet deadlines
• Great communication skills and decision-making abilities
• A servant's heart and open to serving ministry directors

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 2 years of experience in project management and event planning or in related fields.
• Connection or experience with New Life Covenant Church

Other Requirements: 

• Agree to all terms of our employee conduct and be a member of New Life Covenant Church
• Be at all staff and planning meetings as scheduled.
• Participate in church-wide events
• Be available for training events when scheduled.
