Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Special Events Coodinator to join our team.

As a Special Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various special events. This role requires excellent hospitality and event management skills, as well as the ability to work within budget constraints and deliver exceptional guest services.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute special events, including weddings, corporate functions, fundraisers, and social gatherings

- Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences

- Coordinate with vendors, such as caterers, decorators, and entertainers, to ensure seamless event execution

- Manage event budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality

- Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, setup, and breakdown

- Develop event marketing strategies to attract attendees and promote the event

- Provide exceptional guest services throughout the event, ensuring guest satisfaction

- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events

- Maintain accurate records of event details, contracts, and financial transactions

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in hospitality or events management

- Strong knowledge of event planning principles and practices

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Budgeting skills to effectively manage event expenses

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in using event management software or tools

- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is a plus
