    Event Partners Inc. (EPI) is a leading event staff provider in the Southeast. Servicing clients in the Sport and Entertainment industry since 2005, EPI provides quality parking, access control, bag checkers, ticket takers, ushers, guest services, premium attendants, front of house and back of house event staff for numerous athletic events, concerts and special events throughout the South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia region.

    The Part-Time Event Manager - Raleigh/Durham, NC Area will be responsible for the event supervision of EPI’s part-time event staff in the region, specifically EPI’s event-staff operations with Parking and Transportation Services at Duke University. This individual will work with EPI’s Director of Operations and Duke University PTS staff members to oversee EPI’s team of part-time event staff employees to ensure the successful operation of events.

    Primary Duties and Tasks:
    • Serve as supervisor over assigned areas and staff members to ensure staff members are in appropriate positions and following all guidelines.
    • Ensure guests attending Duke University functions are having a safe and enjoyable experience.
    • Ensure Part-Time Staff members are adhering to EPI’s and Duke Universities policies and procedures.
    • Ensure Part-Time Staff members are dressed in appropriate uniform and providing exceptional customer service.
    • Serve as manager on duty for select events at Duke University as assigned by Director of Operations to ensure satisfactory staff performances.
    • Assist EPI’s operations across the Raleigh/Durham area when not scheduled to work at Duke University.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
    Requirements:
    • High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
    • Must be 21 years of age or older.
    • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
    • 3-5 Years of event staff supervisor experience, preferably in parking operations.
    • Superior Customer Service Skills.
    • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Strong organization skills a must.
    • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Ability to work in inclement weather conditions.
    • Must display a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
    • Must always maintain a neat and professional image.
    This position will report directly to the Director of Operations.
