Special Investigations Unit Director oversees the operations for conducting thorough investigations. Develops the strategies for the cross-functional detection and elimination of fraudulent behavior. Being a Special Investigations Unit Director prepares investigative reports and analyses that pertinent to evidence obtained during investigations. May coordinate with outside sources such as law enforcement agencies, and external audit, etc. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Special Investigations Unit Director typically reports to top management. The Special Investigations Unit Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Special Investigations Unit Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     **Job Summary:**

    This is an exciting time as we are rapidly expanding and adding additional investigator positions to fill a increasing demand by our clients. We are looking for part time/as needed surveillance investigator(s).

    Interested applicants must be highly self motivated, creative, thoughtful problem solvers who take pride in their work product. Ideal candidates will have the ability to multitask, meet strict deadlines, be articulate report writers and be flexible as their assignments dictate. Previous experience is required and a strong command of the English language will help you succeed in this position. The job may require travel throughout the state of Arizona.

    You Will

    • Conduct mobile and static surveillance to document with video the activates of the subjects under investigation
    • Provide verbal mid-day and end-of day updates, as well as a written summary of the days activities
    • Flexibility to work varied hours, including holidays and weekends (overnight stays may be required)
    • Have a clean driving record
    • Ability to pass criminal background check and obtain AZ DPS licensing as a private investigator employee

    About You

    • 1-2 years of surveillance experience
    • Demonstrated ability to manage your time and to meet strict deadlines
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Self-managed, motivated, and confident
    • Able to work well under deadlines in a high paced, changing environment
    • Effective team player
    • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
    • Detail oriented
    • Proficient in basic computer skills

    What you need

    • A valid Arizona driver’s license
    • A dependable and surveillance appropriate vehicle
    • Investigative tools (Windows or Mac laptop, video recorder, covert camera. voice recorder, etc.) helpful, but not required
    • Be prepared to submit a writing sample (redacted reports are okay) and video sample
