The Office of Statewide Pretrial Services’ (OSPS or Office) mission is to assist in the administration of justice and promote community safety by ensuring fairness and equality in the pretrial process. The OSPS is a statewide office that provides pretrial services under the Pretrial Services Act, 725 ILCS 185. The Office develops pretrial standards and employs pretrial service officers who conduct pretrial investigations and provide pretrial supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The Investigations Supervisor provides direct supervision to investigators working within the Office of Statewide Pretrial Services (OSPS or Office) Operations Center, including assigning cases and reviewing compiled criminal histories. The Investigations Supervisor works under the general supervision of the Investigations Chief within the Division of Pretrial Operations. The required working hours for this position are Wednesday to Saturday, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
There are 2 vacancies available, 1 for each of the following shifts:
· Sunday to Wednesday, 2:00 PM-12:00 AM
· Wednesday to Saturday, 2:00 PM- 12:00 AM
