    Your Mission:

    You will be responsible for supporting the business by providing technical documentation and preparing drawings from blueprints, designs, mockups, and photo-prints using methods and techniques suited to specified reproduction process or final use such as blueprint or photo offset.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    include the following:

    Prepare documentation by converting CAD renderings into exploded line drawings, and adding appropriate views
    using NX or other illustrating systems.
    • Prepare step by step instructions to show an inspection, disassembly and assembly process
    Maintain stylistic standards and processes for the creation of illustrations in technical documentation.
    Assist in developing documentation in support of new product releases, including product bulletins and updated recommendations
    Observe production, developmental, and experimental activities to determine operating procedure and detail.
    • Draw sketches to illustrate specified materials or assembly sequence.

    • Study drawings, specifications, mockups, and product samples to integrate and delineate technology, operating procedure, and production sequence and detail.

    • Maintain records and files of work and revisions.

    Education and/or Experience
    One year certificate from college or technical school and minimum one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Language Skills

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

    Mathematical Skills

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Computer Skills

    A thorough working knowledge of the following:

    • MS Office
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Team Center Engineering Database
    • CAD such as NX or SolidWorks

    Other Qualifications

    Must be able to work overtime when required.
