Our client, a brand company in the consumer packaging domain, is seeking a Specifications Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, well organized, detail oriented, flexible and has ability to work independently which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Specifications Specialist
Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ (Hybrid - 1 or 2 days onsite per week).
Contract Role: 4-6months ( Opportunity to extend beyond 6 months).

What’s the Job?

• Collect, track, and review documents related to specifications.
• Enter data and manage communication between ingredient suppliers, internal procurement, and R&D teams.
• Analyze data to identify trends and solve problems for R&D projects.
• Clearly explain your findings to others.

What’s Needed?

• At least 1 year of experience with data entry, specifications, or documentation (preferably in Consumer-Packaged Goods).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).

Bonus Skills:

• Experience writing specifications.
• Experience with SAP PLM software.
