Roles & ResponsibilitiesGreet and interact with drivers as they come to the service windowProvide excellent customer service from intake to release of tractor / trailerListen / understand the needs of driversInitiate repair order(s) and schedule necessary services / repairsReview repair request prior to scheduling for potential warrantyOversee and manage the shop’s scheduling and workflowConsult with technicians about services / repairsServe as the communicator and liaison between drivers and other departments (Operations, Safety, Maintenance, etc.
Answer questions about service outcomes and provide status updatesInform drivers of changes in service and / or when the tractor / trailer has been completedManage complaints and resolve grievancesEnter data into internal systemsReview and process any warranty payments / refunds in TMTMaintain accuracy in repair orders, update ETOC as neededReview, make needed changes and close repair orders while working closely with parts and shop managers to ensure repair orders are closed in a timely mannerManage RO’s from local shop and service trucks from Complete Status to Closed StatusOther duties as assignedSkills & Qualifications
