Currently we are looking for a qualified service advisor that can join our service department. Candidate must have service shop experience either as a mechanic or previous service writer. Ideally, candidate must have knowledge about motorcycles and specifically the vast world of Harley-Davidson and aftermarket vendors. Customer communication, people skills, schedule organization, decision making and reading/writing skills are a must.

REQUIREMENTS for Harley-Davidson Service Advisor:

• Valid driver's license w/ motorcycle endorsement
• Be able to pass a background/drug test
• Be able to pass NY State Safety Inspectors exam
• General understanding of computer systems and computer skills
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and handle tools
• Ability to lift 50 pounds of material
• Ability to balance and push a 500 pound motorcycle

Responsibilities and Duties for Harley-Davidson Service Advisor:

• Retail sales of parts, accessories and labor
• Minimal call backs.
• Focus on quality and customer service.
• Organization and attention to detail in a high volume environment.
• Focus on quality service work.
• Maintain clean efficient facilities.
• Dependable, organized and self-motivated.

Qualifications and Skills for Harley-Davidson Service Advisor:

• H-D experience
• Must be able to treat all employees and customers fairly, courteously, and with dignity.
• High quality standards, assuring service jobs are done right the first time.
