The Executive Communications Specialist will serve as a key part of the Communications team, working to tell the story of the organization and the people we serve through executive speechwriting and social media. Reporting to the Executive Communications Manager, and working closely with the CEO, the specialist will articulate the vision and ideas of the CEO and executive team, in engaging and creative ways, to a variety of key audiences. The specialist will also manage the CEO's social media channels, using the platforms as important tools to amplify her voice, public events, and earned media, as well as increase overall engagement with the organization. The work will cover topics ranging from refugee resettlement and protection for asylum seekers to climate migration and the economic benefits of being a nation that welcomes immigrants.
This position can be remote with occasional trips to Baltimore as needed.
